Well politics is politics!

Indeed but the question Kyle Hull et al. of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln wanted to answer was how do our moral judgements change according to political stances.

Well, all politicians lie - currently some politicians seem to lie a lot more than others, though! Is this a surprise?!

Indeed, but let’s not just blame the politicians, this research asked 2’472 people about nonpolitical and political moral behavior and nonpolitical and political moral tolerance. So it’s about “normal” people and how they view and tolerate moral and immoral behaviour.

Oh, intriguing. And what did they find?
